Visitor information about the 5th Istanbul Design Biennial

The visit is free and limited to one hour for everyone.

Within the framework of the measures taken against the coronavirus risk in the biennial venues:

  • For entrance to Ark Kültür, visitors' names must be registered to the guest list. Those with no prior registration will not be allowed inside.
  • At the entrance, body temperatures will be measured and those with a temperature of 37.5 Celsius degrees and above will not be allowed inside.
  • If you want to change your mask, you can request a replacement mask at the entrance. It will be mandatory to use masks throughout the venue.
  • It is mandatory to use gloves during your visit. Gloves will be distributed for you to use at the entrance.
  • The time allocated to you for the exhibition visit is one hour in the time slot you reserved. You must visit the exhibition during this time. If you come to visit late, your departure time will remain the same and the time you can spend at the exhibition will decrease.
  • It is mandatory to use the hand sanitiser in the security area before entry. Cologne will be served to all visitors at the Ark Kültür entrance.
  • Maximum one person will be accepted to the basement of Ark Kültür at the same time. This rule will not apply to those from the same family.
  • In order to be able to listen to the sounds of the video works in the exhibition, you need to bring your own headset and connect your cable to the device.
  • We kindly ask you to keep a distance of 1.5 meters between you and those around you during your visit.
  • Ark Kültür will be disinfected and ventilated after each visit interval.
  • All teams working in the venue will wear masks and shields. Gloves will be provided for certain tasks.
  • Our visitors are required to comply with the rules determined for the visit and the directions of the officials in the exhibition spaces.
  • Information about the measures and rules applied in the Pera Museum can be obtained from the museum's communication channels.
