On 22 April, Dezeen's Virtual Design Festival hosted the "Earth Day Symposium", curated by Beatrice Galilee. Virtual Design Festival collaborated with The World Around to host an online design symposium marking Earth Day 2020, and a series of talks, interviews, short films and essays by over twenty visionaries at the forefront of ecological design was broadcasted. As part of the programme, 5th Istanbul Design Biennial curator Mariana Pestana talked to Holland-based Studio Ossidiana on "designing for more than one" during COVID-19.
